The department helps improve air quality by working with businesses and municipalities to ensure they have the tools and knowledge to develop sustainable practices that protect Missouri’s air quality. From creating specific permits with defined limitations to ensuring asbestos contractors are trained and licensed, we provide assistance to help businesses comply with environmental rules, reduce wastes and emissions and reduce regulatory obligations.
