The Missouri Department of Natural Resources takes a holistic approach in the protection and wise use of our natural resources. Data is collected through various sources, including the state and federal level and through regulated entities. The types of data currently available are listed below.
- Agilaire - A tool that provides an alternative resource and map, which shows the air quality index for pollutants that are not currently part of EPA's AirNow.gov.
- AirNow.gov - EPA's interactive map that reports air quality using the official U.S. Air Quality Index (AQI). The Fire and Smoke map provides detailed, up-to-date information that can be critical to users experiencing smoke events.
- Air Monitoring Sites - Access preliminary one-hour, eight-hour or 24-hour averages for specific pollutants measured at a specific ambient air monitoring station in Missouri.
- Air Pollutants and Sources - Access preliminary one-hour, eight-hour or 24-hour averages for specific pollutants measured at multiple ambient air monitoring stations in Missouri. Also available are weekly, monthly or quarterly air quality data for ozone, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide, lead and particulate matter.
- Current Air Quality - Charts reflecting the current air quality, as provided by EPA's AirNow.gov.
- Envirofacts - EPA database that retrieves information from multiple sources of Envirofacts' System Data for your area of interest.
- EnviroFlash - A service that sends bulletins about air quality, such as daily forecasts or notifications of action days.
- Missouri Air Trends - Access charts that track specific emissions reported by large point sources such as power plants and industrial sources.
- Missouri Emissions Inventory System (MoEIS) - An online emissions reporting system that allows facilities to submit emissions data electronically to fulfill reporting requirements.
