The department's Division of Energy helps local communities reduce energy use and costs by providing various loans, grants and other financial assistance. Some programs, like our Energy Loan Programs, are permanent programs that offer loans for qualified energy-saving investments and energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. Other programs, such as the Energize Missouri Agriculture Program and Municipal Utility Emergency Loan Program, are temporary programs that were established with a one time funds disbursement for a specific reason or project. Information about current loan, grant and reimbursement programs offered by the department's Division of Energy is available below. For more information about current and previous programs, visit the departments' What We're Doing - Energy webpage.
