The application period for the 2026-2027 school year Bus Grant Program grant is now open. This is a noncompetitive grant to help Missouri schools and nonprofits with transportation costs for eligible field trips and outdoor learning opportunities to state parks, state historic sites and other facilities managed by Missouri State Parks, including the Missouri Capitol and State Museum. Grants are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to qualified applicants. The deadline to apply is May 14, 2027, for field drips planned for the 2026-2027 school year.
The Bus Grant Program is available to public school districts, private schools, charter schools and youth-focused nonprofit organizations with 501(c)3 status. The Bus Grant Program is available only to Missouri schools and nonprofit organizations.
