Several job positions within water-related fields require an individual to obtain specific licenses, professional registrations or certifications. The Missouri Department of Natural Resources helps safeguard our water resources by working with these individuals to ensure they have the tools and knowledge necessary to obtain those certifications and licenses.

The department offers various training resources and courses to prepare these individuals for testing, maintain certification and stay current with emerging technologies and new federal and state rules and regulations. Through these efforts, Missourians can be confident their water is protected. Learn more about available training and certification and recertification requirements.
