The Missouri Department of Natural Resources describes a Metal Mining business as:
A business that plans to extract ores (metal-bearing rock) from underground mines and surface mines using machinery, explosives and chemicals. Extraction processes include dressing (picking, sorting, washing of ores), milling (crushing, grinding, etc.) and beneficiation (processing to improve purity/quality).

Even though the request is approved by both Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, you must apply for and renew the license through MoDOT. | Resource Recovery Certification https://oembed-dnr.mo.gov/waste-recycling/resource-recovery-certification Waste and Recycling Missouri’s Resource Recovery regulations, found in Code of State Regulations 10 CSR 25-9.020, were rescinded March 30, 2019. There are no corresponding federal regulations, therefore a resource recovery certificate is no longer required to use, reuse, legitimately recycle or reclaim hazardous waste.
