Missouri certified home energy auditors now have the many capabilities of the Green Building Registry® (GBR) at their fingertips. This platform allows for the automatic import of home energy information through a proprietary application programming interface (API), built to connect with qualified sources like the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Home Energy Score™ (HES or HEScore), Residential Energy Services Network (RESNET), and other green certification and energy efficiency programs. Through a fast and user-friendly workflow, auditors have the toolset to securely display and communicate home energy scores and data in a clear, meaningful manner with clients. The GBR enables auditors and homeowners to showcase home energy information on a publicly held platform that can be accessed online through downloadable reports. The GBR integrates uploaded information from multiple entities, making it easy to recognize and valuate energy efficiency features in homes, underscoring the benefit of home energy audits and the advantage of knowing how a home performs.
