JEFFERSON CITY, MO, NOV. 24, 2021 – The staff members at Hunter-Dawson State Historic Site invite the public to their 1860s Victorian Christmas during candlelight tours of the Hunter-Dawson home from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10 and Saturday, Dec. 11. The house, aglow with the warmth of oil lamps and candles, will be decorated with fresh greenery, Christmas trees and 1860s-style ornaments. Site staff will be present to answer any questions.

In addition to the candlelit tours, daytime tours will be available 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.

This event is free and open to the public, and reservations are not required.

The public is strongly encouraged to follow social-distancing guidelines and be proactive in protecting themselves and others.
