In Missouri, a permit is required for anyone working on water wells, monitoring wells, pumps, heat pumps or drilling test holes. If you have apprenticed for two years and performed the required number of installations to drill, construct, repair, reconstruct, plug wells or install water well pumps, you may now apply for a Non-restricted Well and Pump Installation Contractor Permit.
