In Missouri, a permit is required for anyone working on water wells, monitoring wells, pumps, heat pumps or drilling test holes. If you plan to become a permitted non-restricted well or pump installation contractor, you must first obtain an Apprentice Well and Pump Installation Contractor Permit.
