A proposed amendment to Code of State Regulations 10 CSR 25-6.263 Standards for Transporters of Hazardous Waste is now available for public review and comment until March 27, 2025. The department will hold a public hearing about the proposed amendment on March 20, 2025, during the Hazardous Waste Management Commission meeting. Please follow the link below for more information.

The purpose of this proposed rule amendment is to update state regulations to reference federal regulation references and adoptions as of July 3, 2024 (Code of Federal Regulations 40 C.F.R. Part 263, 49 C.F.R. Parts 171 through 180 and 40 C.F.R Parts 40, 383, 387, 390 through 397). The proposed amendment would remove CFR references that are no longer in place. The proposed amendment would include Missouri Revised Statutes section 260.373, RSMo reference. For additional details please review the rulemaking report.
