A second application period for Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grants is now open. Nearly $2.4 million is available to local governments for projects that will promote energy savings, energy conservation or emissions reductions in communities that were not eligible for their own direct formula funding from the U.S. Department of Energy. The department will grant sub-awards between $100,000 and $500,000 for eligible projects.
Deadline to submit an application and support documentation is Dec. 12, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. local time. For more information, visit the department's Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grants webpage.
