The application period for Section 319 Nonpoint Source Subgrants is now open. The department grants subgrants to help restore and protect waters that have been impaired or threatened by nonpoint source pollution. Cities, municipal and county governments, regional planning commissions/councils of government, state agencies, non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations, higher education institutions and soil and water conservation districts are eligible to apply for the grant funding. Eligible projects may receive $50,000 to $400,000 in funding and projects may be up to three years in length.
