Potential volunteers are invited to Cuivre River State Park to hear about the park’s volunteer opportunities. The meeting will take place at 6 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 18 in the Camp Sherwood Recreation Hall.
The park has many potential volunteer opportunities for all ages and abilities. Some possible projects include invasive bush honeysuckle removal, assisting with programs or special events, small maintenance projects on park buildings and visitor services.

Missouri State Parks is supported by the one-tenth of one-percent Parks, Soils and Water Sales Tax, which accounts for approximately 75 percent of the budget to repair, improve and maintain state parks and historic sites.
