Activities for all age groups will be features during the annual Green Living Fair and Fall Festival at Onondaga Cave State Park. Sponsored by Missouri State Parks, the event will take place from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 26 at the park.
The event will cover a variety of topics, including educational activities, hands-on activities, local farm raised products, green products, demonstrations, displays, solar thermal, gardening and sustainable living.
In honor of National Public Lands Day, the public will be invited to voluntarily participate in a "Bio Blitz" at the park. Volunteers can sign up to assist team leaders in recording flora and fauna associated with the park, including wildflowers, birds, reptiles, amphibians, trees and insects.
Onondaga Cave State Park is located seven miles southeast of the Leasburg exit off of Interstate 44 on Highway H. For more about the event, contact the park at 573-245-6576.
