The public is invited to join in the fun at Wallace State Park. The annual Fall Fun Event will start at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24 at the park. All park programs are free and open to the public.
This year's activities include a 10 a.m. trail hiking adventure called Find the Pumpkin. Hikers that find the hidden pumpkins on the trails will win prizes. At 2 p.m., park visitors can attend a live bird of prey presentation by Operation Wildlife.
The event also features a Halloween Campsite Decorating Contest. Campers are encouraged to transform their campsites with lights, decorations, and jack-o-lanterns. At 7:30 p.m. at the Campground Amphitheater, prizes will be awarded.
