The Missouri Department of Natural Resources issues a mandatory boil order for all customers of Kuhle H2O with public water system ID# MO3036153 in Boone County.

The order was issued due to recent samples testing positive for Total Coliform Bacteria and low pressure. The boil order will remain in effect until corrective actions have been taken and the water is safe to consume. The department will inform the public when the boil order is lifted.

The public served by the affected water system should observe the following precautions:

  • Boil water for five minutes prior to consumption.
  • Disinfect dishes by immersing them for at least one minute in water that has been boiled and contains one teaspoon of unscented bleach per gallon of water. 
  • Dispose of all ice cubes.
  • Water for bathing does not need to be boiled.
