There is much more to the Missouri State Museum than what is on exhibit in the museum at the Capitol or at Jefferson Landing State Historic Site. Sponsored by Missouri State Parks, "Behind the Scenes: Industry" will take place from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 27 at the Riverside Collections Facility located at 117 N. Riverside in Jefferson City.
This event will highlight the tools and products of Missouri’s historic industries. Behind the Scenes tours offer the public a sneak peek into the museum’s collection of artifacts relating to Missouri’s history, people and resources.
The Missouri State Museum’s "Behind the Scenes" tours are semi-annual events that invite the public to explore the museum’s collection of historic Missouri-related artifacts. Visitors can visit anytime throughout the event. The event is free and no reservations are necessary.
